Renewable Energy

All of us need to start thinking about renewable energy. Our planet's resources are being depleted at a ridiculous rate.

If you can, look at some green installations for your home or business - such as solar power or wind power.

If you can't afford that right now, or you live in rental accommodation, then at least switch to a supplier who uses renewable energy. We'd recommend Good Energy - a wonderful British company (Wiltshire in fact) which is already the choice of many organisations like Friends of the Earth, Sustrans, Innocent drinks and Action Aid.

You can compare prices here (www.goodenergy.co.uk/affiliates/taylor-hunt ).

By switching to Good Energy you will be supporting producers of renewable energy and helping to conserve our resources!

Its producers include Westmill in Oxfordshire - Britain's first 100% community-owned wind farm. Good Energy is buying power from three of its turbines for the next five years!

Soon, we'll be looking at some green projects you might like to try for yourself - such as wind power, woodburning stoves etc so check back soon.

Thanks for visiting Big Green.
